Are peacock bass spawned in aquaria often? Being almost exclusively a catfish guy, I'm not up on them.

Hi Eric, I think it is common with these cichlids too. May be less common than with the smaller cichlids because they are kept less frequently.

Victor, did I not just see the pleco rasping the smaller Dorid in the 240g you just took the Tiger/Red-tail out of?

It's been happening for months now, but for a few moments every day. No damage but it does look unsettling to me too. The pleco is a good cleaner though for the tank. And the catfish is worthless, doesn't do anything, literally, in this tank or in the prior several tanks. I've no idea how it maintains its good body weight. So I've been tolerating it for now.
