Brilliant, congrats on another spawn, 180 little pseudas is pretty impressive!! Your tank is beautiful also, looks like you've got some nice prochilodus in there. So spawning L25s next is it?

Wow, what big families they have. These are happening in the big tank even with the non-catfish tank mates present?
Not that that male couldn't hold his own with anything dumb enough to try to get at his young.

No, in fact I moved the pair in a smaller tank (300 liters) cause it's much easier to act on the parameters on a smaller volume... The spawn followed massive RO and rain water changes (300 % in 4 days) and a temperature fall from 28°C to 22°C... it raised again to 28° in around 2 days...

Just for fun, 2 picts of yersterday, 48 hours after the clutch.

there are 4 "packs" of larvae in 2 differents floating nurseries...

as said, I will give you more informations this week-end...

@Loracidlover : I had Semaprochilodus taeniurus in the 1600 liters, but when they grew adult (about 25-30 cm), they wanted to spawn. And as they usualy spawn jumping in the waves and the strong current, one morning I found a dead dry fish on the ground of the fish room :( So I gave them away to a friend who has a 4000 liters cubic tank, in which they can jump as high as they want... it's covered and much more higher than mine...
