Do Upside down catfishes like a strong current?

Hey...juzz wanna know if upside-down catfishes like a strong curent? Thanks..

The answer is no, they don't like a strong current and yes, in the African Catfishes forum.

Shane or the admins, can you please move this to the correct forum?

Well, perhaps a better way to say it is that most Synodontis don't require it, but some (e.g., S. brichardi, S. pleurops) prefer it. When it comes to other Mochokids besides Synodontis (e.g., Chiloglanis spp.), the preference for current ("rheophilia") is even more marked.

cool, thanks for that guys...i have moved the two of them into another tank with 3 Corys in it. The tank is filtered with a sponge filter. Think this should be fine. :)
