Well I'm back for more of your wonderful help. :D

I've had this little guy for over 2 yrs. He's never grown, very reclusive and stays in his driftwood log. He was not marked at the lfs so I did some research and thought that I had a juvie L-007, however due to the fact that he has never grown I'm not so sure that's what he is. These pics were just taken this evening (3-2-05) and he measures out at a whooping 2".

Any ideas?

With all the reading that I've done, it says their spots are white to light yellow, this ones are bright yellow, they have always been bright yellow. Also, is it possible that it's a runt, surely in the time that I've had it it would have reached full size? No telling how old it was when it made it to the lfs and I've had it now for over 2 yrs.

I'm NOT doubting that your right, it's the closest I've seen for sure. Just wondering on the size and coloration issue.

head looks like a Hypancistrus species, too short for a Leporacanthicus.

Also I think its a Hypancistrus inspector.
