Hrmm, that might be a browser / character set issue. What happens when you click on this:
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/lo ... /104_f.php
?

Hi,
When i click on this link the Sturisomatichthys leightoni page appears but with the name misspelled and with "Image file doesn't exist" instead of images.

The "misspelling" is due to you not necissarily having all language packs installed for your browser. The i in Sturisomatichthys is a species character we use as a rather ugly way of getting around the fact it shares the same first 8 characters as sturisoma and thus gives our old software a problem.
Downloading the language pack should fix the misspelling.
The link should work if the above one does. Let me know?
Cheers,

Sorry for my late reply but i was on vacation and just returned.

Thank you very much for that.I will fix it.
As for the link,it works but there are "Ãmage file does not exist" in the place of images and when i click on them the page Error 404 appears.

Try the link again once the language pack is installed. I think the two things are related.

Kostas,
Can you right click on the link, select properties and post the target address of the link here?

Yes.Here is the target address of the link:
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/lo ... /104_f.php
Its a bit different from the link you gave me to view the page.

The link you just posted works fine for me. There must be some setting locally on your PC or browser that isn't interpreting the special character embedded in the name. I can't do a lot to fix that one I'm afraid.

Ok,i will try reviewing the settings of my browser and see if i can find the correct one.
But why are there two different URLs for the same page?In the URL you gave me it is stur%ECsom and it works ok for me while in the URL i gave you it is sturìsom and it doesnt work for me.
Thank you in advance

Good question and this is the issue at the centre of why this link doesn't work. Your browser should automatically translate sturìsom to stur%ECsom (we use this "spelling" of stur
ìsom to keep it seperate from stur
isoma. It isn't doing this, so the link doesn't work.

Thank you very much for your help
I will try finding which setting is responsible for that this weekend.

Just an update, I've now changed the way genus pages are created and can be accessed. This means I don't have to put weird characters in the names of genera that have the same first 8 characters as another (i.e. sturisoma and sturisomatichthys) - so all this and related posts should now be finally resolved!

Yes its resolved.I can now access the page without problems.
I think the catelog is better now as it loads instantly and is not very lengthy.
