Temps and panda cories

After scouring the board for past posts, I'm still stuck as to what the best temperature for panda cories would be. Some posts have mentioned that temperatures over 77*F will cook the cories; other posters mention that they have pandas in with their discus at 80*F+, and no problems.

I know that mileage may vary no matter the species, but what is the optimum temperature so that the cories live long and prosper?

According to the Cat-eLog, the Panda's want 21-26'C.
(21 * 9 / 5) + 32 = 70
(26 * 9 / 5) + 32 = 79

So 75'F (24'C) seems like a pretty decent number in the middle of the range.

Pandas like the water on the cool side. I would not go any higher than 75'F.
