Trachycorystes trachycorystes

I buy this species yesterday about 8". But I cant find more information on the net about this species. Could any one can provide more information about this.
Today morning, this fish still stay at his only draftwood but his tankmate become worst!

My 8" lovely Red-tail Arowana lose his tail and other catfish feel very afraid! This species must keep alone? Please give me more information! Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in response.
Yes Trachycorystes trachycorystes are not the fish for a community aquarium.
They hunt at night and are equiped with powerful jaws. Anything tasty, they will bite. As in the tail of your Arowana. The nightly disruption will be very stressful on your other fish.
They also tend to be fairly territorial with their own species (and with other driftwood cats as well).
Trachycorystes trachycorystes are fish best kept in a species tank.

They grow to a very impressive size. 12" (30cm) at least.

How is the situation in your tank after one month?
Do you still have the Trachycorystes?
