i was thinking either "armatus" or this:

but the thing is they dont have spots on the dorsal or tail fins. Unless they're still young and havent got all their patterns yet. would it be possible?
thanks!

Well,
I guess I found it!

I was worried about my pH, since I have hard water and my pH is usually 7.5, but if these are really Polystictus, I dont think I'll have a problem.
What so you guys think?

Thank you, guys!!
Do you think they're going to be OK with pH 7.5??

Almost certainly C. polystictus. A pH of 7.5 is OK but the large shell I see in the tank may have an effect as time goes by.

In the first picture it looks like a large piece of shell as decoration.

I'm a bit concerned about the barbs in your tank. Are they nippy??

I know the situation and species are different, but when I separated Cherry Barbs from Aeneus Cories, both species behaved completely differently. The Barbs stopped nipping. The Cories are back to their playful selves. Please keep an eye on them.

i understand your concerns. No, they are not "nippers" and i think the reason is, first, because they spend most of the time "fighting" among themselves (there's one dominant), second, because the betta scared the hell out of them!
Now, everyone has it own space and respects each other, but i have been keeping a close eye on them!
