Its a Hemiloracia sp. of some sort. Sorry I can't do better, I'm no whiptail expert.

I bought a pair of these a few months ago , which have spawned a few times in a 1" tube, and were labelled as Loricaria Filamentosa ,in the LFS.

Regards,
Des.

This is a small Rineloricaria sp. exported via Leticia. They stay pretty small (rarely getting over about four inches SL). They need soft, neutral to slightly acidic water.

Snobben,
The males will develop odontodes (small hair-like projections) along their cheeks during the spawning season.
