Brought 3 Flash Pleco (L204 yesterday and they're so cute. Therefore, I plan to add 2 more in a week time. Would it be too many for a 2ft tank?
Additonally, appreciate any recommendation for
another species of Placo which most situable for L204 in the same tank?
Thank You.

hi!
If I am correct a ft tank mut be a 54liter volume... 1 L204 is already too much for your volume. so imagine 3, they vould prefer a volume 4 times bigger
cheers

I did a calcuation, for my 2ft (24" x 12" x 15") is about 70 litre. So 3 X L204 already too much but they're so little (about 1" to 1.5" their current size)and they may seem 'lost' of all the space. Sometime, even I've three, but hardly see them!

Do a little search, it seems like L134 could be a good choice to live with L204 in same tank? Anyone?

As long as you plan to upgrade your tank within the next 6 months it should be ok, however plecs need good filtration and plenty of water movement so dont harm your plecs now by cutting out the important things.
Dont get anymore, stick with what you have. When you come to upgrade get a 4ft tank or bigger.

Hi, thanks for your advice.
You know when you just start-up Pleco keeping, you want every Pleco in the world especially L134 is equally lovely like L204. You can't resist the temptation to have them all. OK, be cool, I will stick to the number as for now.
I've a two strong internal power filter and lot of water movement has been created in this 2ft tank. The 3 little L204 seems very happy; moving around, eating wood even in board day light.
Also, I plan to custom made a 2ft cube planted tank and most likely would keep L134 there (still searching for one in LFS). Cheers!
