Found this little guy in one of the tanks today. He came in with a delivery of hillstream loaches! I got him for £3!
Only about an inch long at the moment..

You are right by the looks of it!
This is why i love Planet Catfish... I can throw what looks to me to be similar, then someone will unearth a species i didnt even think to look at which is the right one!

Hi Ben,
I've got me a few of those as well. Remember to keep them cool, they really don't fancy 24 degrees C or up. This will certainly give me some problems during the summer.
They also like fast flowing and oxygenated water (hillstream catfish). Yours looks a bit skinny, but never mind: some of mine look the same but eat good and are with me for almost half a year now. They seem rather indifferent to company of their own kind. As you have only one, even that doesn't have to be a problem.

He is quite skinny as he hasnt been fed properly for a while.. No one knew he was in the tank at work until i found him..
