there is a thing that loach ppl used to call DOC there is no test already to know how high it is. I don't know, bleeding striaght from eye is strange. 3 speciments (as for pimpictus) is to little, for best choice you can see this - pimpictus but i'm not sure if this can cause your trouble :]. Are you sure that your water tests are ok?

Regards.

I am sure water is testing fine. The only thing that I can think of is that the fish are fighting. The pictus has a blood spot around the eye or behind hard to tell and a little under his side fin. Thanks for answering me

the only one reason I've seen already caused bleeding straight from eye is poor water condition and a stres caused by moving fish from tank to tank. Have you read a link that I've posted?

Regards.

That temp is mighty high for the fish you have. Is there a reason you keep your tank at 85*F?

Also, how often do you water change? How much?

And please do a CateLog search on your irri sharks. See how large they get? They and the balas have no business being in a four foot tank.

WE DO A 10% WATER CHANGE AND CLEAN THE GRAVEL 2 TIMES A WEEK AND THE TEMP IS HIGH DUE TO HOT WEATHER. I HAVE TRIED TO LOWER THE TEMP BY USING BAGS OF ICE. THE PICTUS DIED LAST NIGHT. TWO MORE LEFT. THE WATER IS TESTED DAILY. THE IRIDESCENTS AND BALAS ARE LITTLE RIGHT NOW (ABOUT 3-4 INCHES), BUT I AM ORDERING A 210 GAL TANK VERY SOON. EVERY FISH IS ABOUT THE SAME SIZE IN THE TANK. THE REST ALL SEEM FINE. I HAVE NOT MOVED ANY OF THE FISH AT ALL AND I THINK IT WAS DEFINITLY AN INJURY. THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT.
