Spiny "pleco" ID

I don't know what it is. Ancistrus? Panaque? It's a "pleco" of some sort and that's about all I know. He's a prickly one. Very hairy caudal and sparse on the body. Sorry if the pictures aren't great. If better pics are needed let me know and I'll get them. The guy who sold him to me said he'd be very agressive, not believeing him the only thing this "plec" has turned out to be is an awesome algae eater.
