Okay, here's a way to do it.

A 15 gallon tank is approximately 12" X 24", which means 1800 square cm of surface area.

You didn't say which species of Corydoras you want to add, but let's say each cory will grow to 6 cm.

That's 125 square cm of surface area per fish.

So, in 1800 sq cm, you could get about 14 corys, especially with strong filtration.

If you were stocking one of the "pygmy" species, you could fit more.

Does this help?

Fourteen corys in a 15 gallon tank is too many! In my view 6-10 average size fish is enough. You might be able to get by with strong filtration and water changes but the tank will still be too crowded. If you stock the tank with pygmy corys 15-20 will be fine and would make nice presentation.
