Ok I bought these guys last year at the catfish show.

They just spawned !! I'll get some pictures tonight of her holding the egg on her fin :D

Man I was excited when I saw that egg. I think there is only 1 egg though :?

I guess my question is... for people that have raised up longnose cories..... how do you do it? seperate the female? take the egg off?

Any info would be great !

Edit : Ok here are the pictures :)

Congratulations on yous spawninng of C-131. The long nose corys are much more difficult to spawn. I am a little confused. Do you have two females and no male? In the future I would remove the eggs and hatch them out in a separate container. It will take 3-4 days for the eggs to hatch. Check the sticky on hatching and raising the fry for more info.

Thanks for the advice !

I've got 6 of them.. Honestly I'm not sure what my ratio is as there isn't too much size difference in these. But to make a guess...I'm pretty sure there are 3 females and 3 males.

Here is a link to more pics of them...

Ok I just tried to take the egg off.... key word "tried"

how the heck do you get them off without damaging the egg?

The eggs are firm to the touch, you won't squash them. Use a single edge razor blade or a piece of Java Fern to remove the egg. The egg should adhere to te Java Fern. Good Luck.
