Las Estacas Warning siklid photos!

Just got back from Las Estacas. I had never heard of the place but we were in Cuernavaca and it was in a guide book we picked up. Anyway, we ran (40 minute drive) over there to take a look. Absolutely beautiful! It is a 1.5 mile "river" where an underground river comes up from the hills, runs a bit in the open, and then goes back underground. Spotted were convicts, Tilapia, some cyprinid "suckers," goodeids, and livebearers. I will go back with a net and snorkle soonest. I was without a net or even shorts
The spawning convicts looked like nothing I have seen in the aquarium trade with their aquamarine breeding colors. The water was crystal clear.
