There are two different types of Erethistidae sp being used as photo's for Hara filamentosa
a)old pic removed
b)old pic removed

b) is H. maesotensis. For a while, I was lumping all of the Thai/Burmese species as H. filamentosa. Depending on where a) came from, it might not even be H. filamentosa.

Amazing you guys can see the difference between those two; I would say the first is an adult, the second -obviously smaller- fish could be a juvie....
BUT as I know not much about these Aziatic little jewels, I'll believe you people.
but now that we're right on the level where you can spot species differences on minute levell, I might pint you at
THIS flagrant mistake for wich I'll make a new topic.
