Hi I think Siluris is being a bit hard on Gravybrain ..
Look this guy is new to the forum ..Warn him first dont
just lock the subject ..
Just because your a moderator you should not throw your weight about ..
Give guidence not aggresssion!

Sorry, but double posting is a serious breach of forum rules. sojapat, are you sure you're up-to-speed on what happened and why?
Here is me spending the last two days with serious server resource issues and you're trying to defend multiple posting!!!!
The correct moderator response IS to lock ONE of the posts so as not to create multiple threads.
Are you supporting double posting? Should we all just ignore forum rules?
A hello everyone post is a better way (and suggested to newbies) to join in and, aside from that, it's also a pretty dodgy first post with a misleading title and in the wrong forum (I think the post was discussing the LFS rather than Panaque but I could be wrong there) - I know otherwise - but how do we know this is spam from an employee?!?

Not to mention the fact that attacking a mod (and in this particular case THE very hard-working person who knows more about catfish than the rest of us combined!) en plain public, instead of sending a pm, is a very fast way of getting severely frowned upon by a lot of people on this forum, not just mods & admin.......

I now understand why strict rules are a must for "Planet Catfish".
I noticed the website was down for awhile and for fear of using a little bandwidth
I support
Jools and
all the moderators for enforcing the
Rules.
I've experienced the total chaos that happens at other forums with that "laid back"
or "who cares" attitude. I also once said something about the moderators taking it easy
on the beginners and I will never criticize any of the Mods again as I learned through my
own experience that they are just doing what is absolutely necessary to keep this forum in order.

I'm not sure I am so comfortable with guns.
Not to mention, I don't want to get jingoistic here. I hope a lesson has been learned and I REALLY hope that all involved will continue to contribute to the forum and not be put off by the fact their first effort was somewhat overzealous.

Looks like fashion works here too :/.
We got new fashion - let's tell everyone that mods are crappy team :(.
This is the BEST site on internet with really great ppl and one of the reason are rules which should be obey by everyone.
Keep your great work moderators and thank you for help in keeping PC working!
Just my two cents :).
Regards.
P.S.
It's not vaseline thing or something I just cannot understand how ppl can act like that - blaming mods is imho not right. Mods do this all for free and for us.

Thanks for the comments, however, I'd be obliged if we could save server resources by shirking another emerging fashion and not contine with the "you guys are great" type stuff.
I know the team are great, that's enough! If we're not great, everyone has the right to question.
