Which Catfish?

Hi,

I am currently cycling my new Juwel Rekord 96 and will be transferring over the current occupants of my smaller tank (4 Pygmy Corys, 4 Neons and 4 Harlequins) to go with the 6 Black Skirt Tetra that are in there at the moment. I am looking for algae eaters as the tank does come into contact with some sunlight (located in hallway) and will be susceptible to algae growth. I am looking at Otos or Bristlenoses. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions? The tank has real plants (quite a few of them) and 2 large pieces of Mopani wood.

Thanks for any help

Given the size of the fish that are already in there, I would pick otos for aesthetic reasons, as they would not look too out of place with the small fish like the bristlenose would.

Thanks for that. I was thinking about Ottos at first but I know so many people really rate bristlenoses as great fish to keep!!

How many Ottos would you suggest in a 96 litre tank?

I think with your current stocking level, you should easily be able to accomodate about 10.
