I'm looking to get another catfish for my 10 gallon aquarium. I took a look at many catfish and the bristlenose seemed to best suit my needs. I also am having a bit of an algae problem with the tank, but I can keep it under control (A scrubber and an otocinclus). Any suggestions

I think you can narrow down your choices depending on what other fish you have in the tank and what the natural hardness of the water is. Post this information and I'm sure someone will have a great suggestion for your new fish...

I have a few fish already

I have seven small balloon mollies. I can't figure out what size they will get to, one source says 1" round (The person I got them from), another (bettinacharlotta) says they will get 4 3/4" long. Who should I believe?

These mollies could be a hybrid of the person I got them from, or they could not be full grown I also have 3 neon tetras, 3 emerald green catfish, and a dwarf sucker. My Ph is 6.8 to 7.0 and have room to make hiding places.

14 fish is already too many for a 10 gal. I wouldnt overstock the tank any more.

I wouldn't add more fish to that tank either. Mollies can grow quite large, but rarely more than about 2.5", ballon mollies will be smaller than "general" mollies.
I think Shane wrote something about swimming with 4" mollies not so long agao.
However, you've also got Emerald Cories, which I would guess are Brochis Splendens. These will grow to 3"+ if you look after them right, and would almost on their own take up the tank capacity for a 10 gallon tank.
If you got algae trouble, try reducing the light and increasing the water changes whilst reducing the feeding of the fish. This should lower the nitrate and phosphate levels in the tank and make it less likely for algae to grow.

Thanks, everyone, for all of your replies. I guess I'll just have to save my money for a bigger tank.
