What do you think the lowest pH is that a fish can live in? 6? Maybe 5.5? What about 3? Yep, it's true. There is a fish that lives in water with a pH of 3. It is also the worlds smallest fish. You can read about it at http://www.comcast.net/news/science/ind ... 11616.html

Both fish you mentioned Silurus are rather small is this that strange, acid environment what makes fish not too big?
