A merchant has told me that he has a few pl*co amazonia in stock.. so I tried to find some information about this fish
and...nothing
Has any of you heard of this fish (or maybe a fish with a similar name)

Common names are often "made up" for the local region, so some importer in Israel may well have come up with this name.

If you can get a photo, we can probably identify it (or at least classify it enough to say whether it's a suitable fish for you or not, assuming you tell us what you've got in mind for your tank - tank-mates, temperature, water parameters, etc).
