Hi again!
When I got this little dude, I was told be the guys on AquaHobby to come over here and you might be able to help me ID it and tell me what particular species I have. It would be great if you could tell me if I have a male or female too.
I've tried my best to get some shots, let me know if they're not good enough and I will attempt again!

It's not very big at the moment, a few cms long.
I asked the fish shop for a Bristlenose Pleco, the ones that don't grow really big- but then I later found out that this is actually called a Bristlenose Catfish. However when I asked the people on Aquahobby they told me to pop over here and ask you. :D
Thank you in advance,
Casey

I'd say it may be one of the Ancistrus Sp. But I'm not practiced enough yet to take it further.

It looks very young. Lack of bristles may indicate a female, but I doubt it's old enough yet to sex. Although I think Mats knows some details on head shape, from memory. What's it's length?

It's certainly like Silurus says, and the size means that it's almost impossible to say what it is. If you had it in a tankfull of it's brothers/sisters, then you could have a rough guess on getting a matching for it [of course, that would be a bad breeding practice to breed two siblings with each other].
