Hi to everyone,
This is my first post on this great site. Though it's a bit late, here goes. We are great catfish lovers and we have kept quite a few different species over the years, such as julii cats, peppered catfish, bristle-nose (which we breed), a magnificent golden pleco (who recently passed away) and and a gorgeous gibbiceps (who also unfortunately passed away while we were on a long overdue holiday).
We currently have eel-tailed catfish (tandanus) and our breeding bristle-nose. We are preparing a 4-ft tank as a special catfish tank and are still deciding what fish will eventually go in. I would love to find out how many other people are keeping Australian catfish as it would be great to source some of these. We'd love to have some suggestions. The eel-tails are great fun - very active and they feed from my hand!
Congratulations on a great site. It is a brilliant resource and makes for excellent reading.
Regards,
Raichu
