Synodontis Njassae

Just looking for some first hand info on these guys. Also do they get along well with other synodontis ?

a very hard to get species; 99% of all "njassae's" in the trade are either "cheap" species labelled with a "njassae" pricetag (most often S ocellifer, but sometimes even nigrita or eupterus) or those damnable hybrids "made in Czechia".
As a species, it's a fairly active shoaling species, very shy when kept single or as duo. very slimbuilt elongate fish, check the catelog here for pix of the REAL njassae. if the fish in the trade do not resemble these, they're fakes!
it's a peaceful Syno, much less boisterous than the Tanganyikan species, and not very suitable for the more agressive Malawian cichlids. it IS suitable for sandchewers like Peacocks (Aulonocara), Lethrinops or the huge Fossochromis, fish like Sciaenochromis freyeri/ahli, Placidochromis and the larger Haps like Aristochromis, Nimbochromis, Dimidiochromis etc.
