What say you peeps. This fish came from the Napa river in Peru. Right now were calling it Acanthicus cf Adonis.

Hi!
Cant be Acanthicus as it shows an adipose fin...looks more like some cactus (Pseudacanthicus)

Ohhh, that would be good news! I wouldn't mind some if they aren't going to get 2 feet and try to eat everything in their tank ;).

The closest match is
, but this is an Orinoco sp. reported to come from Venezuela.
Most likely the Peru fish is a new L#.
Quick, we need an outrageous name for it. How about....
