Can anybody help id this large plec ?

That's a very interesting one, I think it might be a species of Meglancistrus but I'm not 100% - got more pics?

Will try to get more pictures.
A friend sent me the picture asking if i knew what it was, think the plec came in an order with other fish.
Will get more details.

Sorry, no more pictures just now, but the plec is 12 to 18 inches and came in an order from South America.

Well, that doesn't really help - you'd need a river system to be more certain but I think my first suggestion still holds water.

Looks like a new variant of
Megalancistrus paranatus
from Rio Săo Fransisco, Brazil.

This fish has a little longer snout than L113(=L234)
but shorter than the fish below (less spines than the fish
below too).

A couple more pictures, the marks on the fish is water marks on the tank face, there is no blemishes on the fish;
