Went past my LFS on the way to work today, and they had some pictus cats there, but they had absolutely no spots on the body - just some on the fins. Would this be because they are juvenile, or is it a different variety than the "normal" ones?

If they are only small, one inch or so they are juvenile pictus cats. There have been quite large numbers of these coming into the UK.

These juveniles are just starting to develop their body markings

Yeah, these were probably about 2" TL, if that.

Thanks for the answer.
