I have seven corys in my community tank, 3 albino, 3 panda, and 1 gold stripe.
I have noticed that the albinos are nearly always hyper, and the pandas are the exact opposite, is this normal behaviour ?

Hi there,

Corydoras live in groups. I don't think you will see "all normal behaviour" with 3+3+1 species. Why don't you buy only albino or only panda? Think of a minimum of 6 Corys of the same kind.

What albino's do you have by the way?

I dont have just one type of cory mainly because of availability, and i also like to see their individual personalities.

The albinos i have are c. aeneus.

I would think that 7 specimen - although not from one species - do make a nice group. I believe that C.aeneus is just more active than C.panda, so imo there's little to worry about.
I agree with Martijn's view (a large group of one species, although I wouldn't take the albinos ), but if no fishes are available I think you have chosen the best possible solution.

I was thinking, the "gold stripe", isn't that a luxurious type aeneus?

The " goldstripe " cory is an offshoot of c.aeneus, it doesnt grow as large as a standard bronze cory tho.
