Hey everyone

I was just wondering if anyone could give me a little bit of informations as to if the longfin or veil trait is dominant recessive sex related or none of the above. Just recently picked up some brown longfins crossed with normal ALbino's i have some that are longfin and some that are commons. Obviously they are all Brown at the moment cos the albino trait is recessive. I'm just wondering if anyone has got results from this before.

I would have thought that long-fin is recessive, since it's definitely a detriment in nature (having long fins increases the risk of being caught by a predator).

it is supposedly recessive. the Albino may possibly be a carrier of the gene though although it doesnt show the trait.
