Hi, I have identified my G Joselimaianus from the photos on this site, can you tell me how long it will be before he gets to 12cm plus? How fast do they grow? I am wondering how long have I got before I need to buy a bigger tank, and can you tell me if a 1 meter tank would be big enough for him, or will I need to re home him? At the moment he is just a little fellow, 4 cms approx.

From my experience, I got mine about six months ago at around 1-1.5 inches and they have grown to be right about five inches in this time and have significantly grown also in girth. So they are less than a year old and are already that big...
Here's a pic of one of mine...

I had a 12"+ one in my 4ft and he looked cramped IMHO. Aim for a 4ft minimum as he will get very stocky and long with age

"My" rule is around 4L x 2L x 2L, where L is the length of the fish. That's not a STRICT rule, but a good guideline to give the fish enough space to move around... So working on a 12" adult size, you're looking at a 4ft x 2ft x 2ft tank-size.
