L134's in a 29g

Hi all,
I was just wondering about how many L134's can live happily in a 29g (30" L x 12" W x 18" H). I'm not looking to breed them or anything, but I wanted to set up a nice little species tank.
Thanks,
Gar

From the cat-elog:"Compatibility: Peaceful if a little territorial. As a rough guide give each fish a 12 inch square area well broken up with decorations."
So 2 and a half if its a 30 inch 29

Here is my opinion. With lots of driftwood, a nice sand substrate, and some kind of tall plant, like some Vals. It would be a nice tank to view. I would put like 8 of them that are 2.5 inches or smaller or around 6 adults. But make sure there is a lot of driftwood.

I personally would not put six adults in a 29 gallon nor a 30 gallon long. Even though they are generally peaceful, males are territorial. I (IMO) would put no more than 3 or so... Beautiful fish, goo luck!!!

Thanks gang.
I'm gonna decorate the tank w/ a lot of driftwood and slate and the like and try 4 of them and see how it goes. Just hope I don't get two or more males, but I have a community tank with space I can put one in if need be. Thanks again.

I find mine get terratorial at feeding time. Chasing other L-134 away from the food.
