Hi everyone

yesterday i was at a lfs in Birmingham (tropical waters aquatics; Acocks Green. Amongst a good selection of L no's, synos & others there were a couple of things that caught my eye & wondered if anyone was interested - they were Pelteobagrus Fulvidraco £7 size 1-2" & Chrysichthys Ornatus £10 size 1-2.5". I hadn't seeen these species around for a while & certainly not at these sizes. They had around half a dozen of each. Sadly current stocking meant i had to pass on these.

Nice fish...
can't remember seeing the first species alive at anytime or anywhere at all ever and the second only once or twice, must have been at least a decade ago.

interesting imports you guys have in the UK

Hi Sid

The C.Ornatus are seen every so often but i've not seen them as small as this. It is a lovely fish but quite predatory although i prefer the south american "eqivalent" G.Eques. The P.Fulvidraco i've seen every once in a blue moon, again never this small
