It was sold as a LDA33 but I've been told to post here by
http://www.zebrapleco.com/ to see what the experts say. They tend to think it is a L201 as do I. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say it's L201
. It's not EASY to tell apart from
(LDA33) tho'.

I have read that a way to tell the difference is to look at the eyes. On a L201 the eyes are much bigger, hence the name.
I donĂ¢??t know if this is correct or not but it sounded good.

Yes, but if you look at the pictures of B. sp(LDA33) above, you'll see that this species also have fairly large eyes. The body shape is also somewhat different: Baryancistrus is a little wider over the head than similar size Hypancistrus.
Combine these features with the fact that LDA33 should be more black and white rather than dark grey/yellow like your fish, and I think we're pretty close to determining the species of your fish to be Hypancistrus inspector.

Looks like
H.inspector to me.
The most reliable character though is the teeth.
Baryancistus has big pads of teeth like this:
While the
Hypancistrus has very narrow rows of teeth, like this:

Thank you for the posts. I'm positive thats it's L201 now with your help. It does have the small rows of teeth as pictured by Racoll. Thank you also to Mats.
