Amphilius are very cool cats to have.
tnx for the article; saved it right away.

I kept a trio for 10 years or so (bought them in 1995-1997?) but unfortunately the disease hitching along with that Gymnallabes typus finished them off.....or the cure.
I had to use some serious antibiotics or I wouldn't have anything left in the River-tank.
so far the rest survived the ordeal, but my Amphilius -already quite old by hillstreamcat standards- couldn't deal with it all. :(

fascinating catfish they are! I hope to keep them again, they're worth keeping every single day.
