Are synodontis ocellifer and alberti compatible?

Hello & welcome to PC.
That depends. If you're planning one of each, so 2 specimen in total, I would advice you not to do that. In a 2 specimen case there's no possibility to spread aggression, so one always gets bullied by the other, which will eventually lead to the death of the inferior specimen.
If you're thinking of small groups of both species it should be no problem, provided they have enough hiding places.

The alberti is a very rare Syno, highly nocturnal and much more peaceful than most syno's.
it's big eyes and -for a Syno- unique elongated whiskers all point to that.
the ocellifer is more like the nigrita and at least as boisterous if not more; a very common big bully of a Syno. not truly agressive, but yes, fairly territorial. I've seen ocellifers kill small catfishes (!)>
I wouldn't combine the alberti's with these; if you like more species go for something peaceful: greshofi, flavitaeniatus, contractus, pleurops; species like that.
and like Marc says, best keep them as a group. a group is not 2, nor 3. 4-5 is much better.
