Last night when I was watching my 2 S nigriventis (upside down catfishes) They were swimming around in the dim evening light, and they started fighting, and I heard squeeking noises. Then, I turned off the filter and bubbler and I heard squeeking and clicking comming from their general direction. Did I actually Hear the TALK or was it some other noise? :?

I once saw two nigriventris 'lock horns' and go spinning around like two figure skaters (only upside down). I never saw them do it again.

To stridulate is to make sounds by rubbing two body parts (bones in this case) together.
