bushy nose feeding

Put a bushy nose (bristlenose) in the tank a month ago. Seems to be doing fine, but not working on the algae growing on the leaves of the live plants very much. It's the thin film-like algae on the leaves that it seems to be ignoring. Also doesn't seem to eat the algae pellet I throw in once a week. Does seem to eat the algae on the glass because I'm doing less scrubbing. Spends most of it's time on the water pump pipe. There's a Rainbow Ciclid that pesters it a lot, so don't know if that's the problem. Should I be concerned about it's eating?
Suggestions? Thanks.

If your concerned that it's not eating the algae wafers or not getting enough to eat try putting some raw veggies in about once a week. Mine love zucchini, cucumbers and yellow squash.

butterfly is correct. They will eat algae tabs but yours may have to aquire the taste.
The algae on the leave is possibly the cyanobacteria aka bluegreen algae and few aquatic animals eat that stuff.
