hello all well i thought i would introduce myself to the community at this forum. well my name is Henry gilpin, im 14, i love all kinds of wildlife but fish (of all kinds) have captavated me the most.
Im half half blood i was origanly born in canada but to move to australia at the age of 3 mounths (my dads side Australian, mum Canadian) but have now moved back to live here. whilst in australia i kept many of the native fishes there including:
Melanotaenia duboulayi(Australian Rainbow fish/Crismson spotted rainbow fish)
Pseudomugil signifer(Pacific Blue-Eye)
Anguilla reinhardtii(long-Finned Eel)
Arius graeffei(Salmon catfish/Fork-tailed catfish)
Tandanus tandanus(dewfish/eeltailed catfish)
Hypseleotris galii(firetailed Gudgeon)
Gobiomorphus australis (Striped Gudgeon)
Mogurnda adspersa(Purple Spotted Gudgeon)
But now that i live in canada iv started to keep many cichlids for both america and africa but my south americans are my favorite also i am persuing to keep some new types of catfish from sotuh america.
Currently i have 3 tanks opeating 1x75 1x55 and 1x20 soon to all be filled with SA fish but for the meen time theres a mix of africans and SA fishes(not in the same tanks tho)
My other pets include 2 dogs (chip(labrador) 10, Charlie(collie) 6) and a cat (kiko 1)
Anyway that pretty much sums it up and i cant wait to see what this site has to offer for me.
