Just bought a Gold Nugget? from Wharf Aquatics UK but is 'mink' and 'pale' yellow spots.
He looks great and is eating but does not look like a 'normal' gold nugget.
Any views on what he may be?

could you explain mink to a non native speaker plz? I only know the animal...

He may have a stress colouration , let him settle in a bit and he should get his normal colour back, you could check the Catfish of the Month article about the Gold Nugget....
