Axelrodi?

Hi all,
hopefully a quick an deasy ID?
please advise the mugshot of these cute little fellas

I would say so, but I'm no expert.
The axelrodi in the Cat-eLog don't have the faint horizontal stripes, though, and I don't think mine do either. I'll have to check when I get home.

Have a look at Corydoras sp. 'deckeri' CO3 in the ScotCat photo gallery, and the pic Silurus found for me under the posting Corydoras decker in the Callichthyid forum.

thanks a lot!
I thought they were axelrodi ... but there was an ID that they had to be deckeri ... so I looked through some pics, did some research ... didn't find out much cept that I thought that the shape of these fellas looked more like the axelrodi.
could anyone help with some pointers on how to differentiate the two?

If I'm not wrong... the simplest way is the Deckeri has broken horizontal lines as compared to Axelrodi's straight unbroken line..

Incidentally, on p. 57 of the pleco Aqualog there's a picture labelled Corydoras sp. axelrodi-deckeri.
