S. ansorgii would also be my closest guess, although the shape of the adipose fin and the humeral process look a little different.

i would guess synodontis euruptus

definitely not, as the fins (esp the dorsal) and the eyesize don't match eupterus.

I've seen this species before as a by catch (probably mixed at the wholesaler) with S nigrita.
