In the recent Checklist of Catfishes Microsynodontis hirsutus Ng, 2004 has been shown as Microsynodontis hirsuta Ng,2004
This seems to be the only Microsynodontis in the Cat-eLog that shows a discrepency with the new list

I'm not looking forward to trying to remember to change the endings on such well established names - damn those scientists at times
