I purchased some new pl*cos a few weeks ago. Supposed to be Hyp Inspector and Scobinancistrus sp. Rio Tapajos Opal Spot. Are they ??

They look like two different genera to me. I agree that the top ones looks like a not sure at all about the other. The fish going by the name Opal spot is of undetermined genus, however, you can't trust common names and it does look a bit like a . Do you have pics of them in the aquarium and of the teeth?

I will tey and get some better pics. Hardly ever see them in the tank.
