Hi there!

This is my first post on the planetcatfish forum. Here's a little introduction:

I'm Harry, 29 years old now and I'm from Groningen, in the north of Holland. I have 8 tanks at my place. My main goal is breeding Apistogramma's, but since a while I've got the catfish-fever 8).
For now I have several Ancistrus dolichopterus, but mainly young fish for cleaning the breeding tanks of the Apistogramma's. Sometimes I have young fish of them.
In my biggest tank I have several fish, including 3 (1 male, 2 female) L066 and 4 young L204. I'm hoping to breed with these cool fish. The L066 should be old enough to breed I think. The L066 and L204 are here for a few days now.

Greetings,
Harry

Note: If anyone doesn't understand the things I type in here, just ask again. English is not very easy for me (I can buy a bread, so I won't starve to death, but thah's it  ), so maybe I type some things incorrect.

Hi Harry & welcome to PC.
Your English is fine btw. I think everybody understands what you want to say.

Welcome to Planet Catfish, Harry.

I'm afraid that there are some members of this forum who's native language is English that aren't fully able to write the language. But this isn't an English test, and a few spelling/syntactical mistakes isn't what it's about - it's about understanding Catfish and sharing our expeiences.

If you're unsure about something, try adding the dutch/german/spanish/italian or whatever word you do know, and someone else that knows the translation will be able to help out [at least for dutch, as there are several active dutch members].

Ah, just remembered that this is one of those "If you're not from there you don't understand what the fuss is about": Confusing "Dutch" and "Holland" with "The Netherlands". Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone.

Thanks for the welcome-words. smile1 As for the language: it's not only that I can type some words wrong, but also for me understanding. I read a lot about the L-numbers, but when it's non-Dutch, I have to read is several times before understanding. If I'll ever understand it....

Anyways, I forgot to mention that I also have some young Corydoras paleatus. I hope to breed with them also in the future. Those paleatus I have are from wild-caught parents. Anyone knows at what age/size these cory's can reproduce?
