supposed to be L183 however given i only counted 8 dorsal rays it obviously isnt. was sugested here that it might be a L213, however without profile shots i have no idea.

Hello,

They look identical to a group of L213 I had a few years ago. If they are the same species, they are one of the most productive white-spotted Ancistrus I've ever owned. Mine weren't what I'd call "picky" about spawning either. However, they did all but refuse to spawn for 6 months out of the year. Took that long to sell all the fry from the other 6 months though, so it all worked well.
