If you haven't seen it you should check out the thread
http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... hp?t=20713
this is one of the nicest tanks that I have ever seen, the patience of Haavard astounds me, but the result is amazing.
It has definitely inspired me to set up a tank with as much effort (I am very impatient and this will be hard).
Which brings me to my point, biotope tanks.
I was going to set up a rio xingu tank a along time ago along similar lines and found it so difficult to find good biotope information that I gave up.
Monga bay is a good place to start, but you don't really get much of an Idea of what is going on under the water.
Maybe a thread that people can describe/post pictures of different biotopes would be good so I am starting with this request.
Could anyone with biotope information/descriptions/pictures post them here so that we can gather together a good collection for users can go to as a source for tank set up.
Also the thingy that shows you other fishes found in the area is really good but information on 'normal' fishes that live in the area would be nice, as most people like to keep them too.
Thanks
Matt

Yeah..I was astounded by the tanks. It's sooo lovely. It inspired me to go hunting around and I found some lovely biotope information in Shane's World for some types.
