How many fish, how large and in what size tank?
Is the tank "established" (has it been running for a long time)?
What's the filtration in the tank?

You probably collected too many, are keeping them warmer than they are used to and the general stress associated with capture and rapid change of conditions. They can be prone to Ich also.I would thin them down and treat with malachite green. Normal dose despite their scaleless skins has always worked for me.
I first began regularly catching them when I was 10 years old and off and on over the past four decades so I have some practical experience.

There was about 45 of them..now theres probably about 15, there only about an inch, and the tank is 25 gallons.
Yeah it was probably running for a week before i got them.
I dont remember what filter it is, but it said 10 through 30 gallons
