Got 3 of these guys today but the guy didn't really know what to call them;

The 2nd pic shows that 1 of the 3 has much tighter spots but he told me they are all the same type? Hopefully they are as I wanted to breed them

They are not all the same fish. The fish in the first picture is, I suspect, a hybrid.

i just viewed over the picture and the shape's all eupterus, but there aren't enough spots

looks like someone managed to crossbreed ocellifers with eupterus. too bad.


the one in the lowest pic looks like the genuine article though.

Would the fact that they are still juvies have an affect on the number of spots?

Could the 1st one not be S. Katangae?
