A tiny but very nice addition to the fishroom.
Does anyone know why these little beauties are so seldom seen?

They're not Hara because you can see the spurs of the bony scutes on the sides of the body.

They come straight from the shop, and have to gain a lot of weight before they look like my other four Physopyxis:

There are not many species discussed in the forums that i've never encountered - but this is certainly one of them. What a great little fish this is, & i'm certain i've not seen it in the Uk (that's not to say it hasn't been available here.
